< Website Membership Terms and Conditions > We present the Terms of Use for the Christian Gospel Mission “Providence Bible School” website. Article 1 (Purpose, etc.) ① The Providence Bible School Service Terms (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") are intended to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and "Providence Bible School" in relation to the use of internet services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by Providence Bible School. ② Anyone who wishes to become a user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms by going through the prescribed procedures set by Providence Bible School and clicking the "Register" button. Matters not specified in these Terms regarding the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and Providence Bible School shall be governed by the Telecommunications Business Act, other relevant laws of the Republic of Korea, and commercial customs. Article 2 (Definition of User) ① "User" refers to a person who accesses Providence Bible School, registers as a member in accordance with these Terms, and receives services provided by Providence Bible School. Article 3 (Membership Registration) ① Anyone who wishes to become a user applies for membership by filling out the membership information according to the registration form prescribed by Providence Bible School and clicking the "Register" button. ② Providence Bible School shall register as a member anyone who applies as described in Paragraph 1, unless they fall under any of the following: If the applicant has previously lost membership under Article 5, Paragraph 3 of these Terms. However, exceptions are made for those who have been reinstated as members with the approval of Providence Bible School after three years have passed since the loss of membership under Article 5, Paragraph 3. If there are false statements, omissions, or errors in the registration details. If it is judged that registering as a member would significantly hinder Providence Bible School due to technical reasons. ③ The membership contract is established when Providence Bible School's approval reaches the applicant. ④ If there are changes to the membership information provided in Paragraph 1, the member must immediately correct and update the changes. Article 4 (Service Suspension) ① Providence Bible School may temporarily suspend the provision of services in the event of maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication equipment such as computers, or interruption of communication, and may completely discontinue currently provided services for reasons such as switching to new services or other reasons deemed appropriate by Providence Bible School. ② In the event of service suspension under Paragraph 1, Providence Bible School shall notify users in the manner prescribed in Article 6, Paragraph 2. However, if prior notice is not possible due to reasons beyond the control of Providence Bible School (such as disk failure or system downtime not due to the intentional or negligent acts of the system administrator), this shall not apply. Article 5 (User Withdrawal and Loss of Qualification, etc.) ① Users may request at any time to have their membership registration canceled (user withdrawal) from Providence Bible School, and Providence Bible School shall immediately proceed with the cancellation process upon receiving such a request. ② If a user falls under any of the following, Providence Bible School may restrict, suspend, or revoke the user's membership in an appropriate manner: If false information was registered at the time of application. If the user interferes with another person's use of the service or steals their information. If the user uses the service for acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or acts contrary to public order and morals. If the user falls under the “faith-based disqualification or suspension reasons” of this mission. ③ If Providence Bible School decides to revoke a user's membership, it will cancel the membership registration. In such cases, the user will be notified before the cancellation, and will be given an opportunity to explain within 30 days from the date of receiving the cancellation notice. ④ If a user does not log in to use the service for one year after registering as a member under these Terms, Providence Bible School may revoke the user's membership. Article 6 (Notification to Users) ① When Providence Bible School gives notice to a specific user, it may do so via the email address provided by Providence Bible School. ② When Providence Bible School gives notice to an unspecified number of users, it may do so by posting on seven (7) or more Providence Bible School bulletin boards, which will substitute for individual notification. Article 7 (Protection of Users’ Personal Information) ① Providence Bible School collects essential personal information such as name, gender, address, contact information, and date of birth at the time a user registers as a member, for the purpose of providing customized services. ② Providence Bible School strives to protect users' personal information, including registration information, in accordance with relevant laws. The protection of users’ personal information is governed by relevant laws and the “Privacy Policy” established by Providence Bible School. Article 8 (Obligations of Providence Bible School) ① Providence Bible School shall not engage in acts prohibited by law or these Terms, or acts contrary to public order and morals, and shall strive to provide continuous and stable services as prescribed by these Terms. ② Providence Bible School shall establish a security system to protect users’ personal information (including credit information) so that users can safely use internet services. ③ Providence Bible School shall not send users unsolicited commercial emails for profit. ④ Providence Bible School is liable for damages suffered by users due to intentional or gross negligence of Providence Bible School while using the service. Article 9 (Obligations regarding Users’ IDs and Passwords) ① Except in cases where Providence Bible School is responsible under relevant laws or the “Privacy Policy,” the management responsibility for IDs and passwords lies with each user. ② Users must not allow third parties to use their ID and password. ③ If a user becomes aware that their ID and password have been stolen or are being used by a third party, they must immediately notify Providence Bible School and follow any guidance provided. Article 10 (Users’ Obligations) ① Users must not engage in the following acts: Registering false information when applying for or changing membership. Modifying information posted on Providence Bible School. Infringing on the personal rights or intellectual property rights of Providence Bible School or third parties, or interfering with their business. Engaging in acts contrary to the faith standards of this mission. Stealing another member’s ID. Sending junk mail, spam mail, chain letters, pyramid scheme invitations, obscene or violent messages, images, or audio, or otherwise disclosing or posting information contrary to public order and morals. Transmitting or posting information (such as computer programs) prohibited by law. Posting or emailing materials containing software viruses or other computer code, files, or programs designed to disrupt or destroy the normal operation of computer software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment. Stalking or harassing other users. Collecting, storing, or disclosing other users’ personal information without consent. Posting advertisements or promotional material to an unspecified number of people, or engaging in profit-making activities using Providence Bible School’s services, such as sending spam mail. Violating the terms or other regulations regarding the use of services provided by Providence Bible School. ② If a user engages in any of the acts in Paragraph 1, Providence Bible School may restrict, suspend, or revoke the user’s membership as stipulated in Article 5, Paragraphs 2 and 3. ③ Users are liable for damages suffered by Providence Bible School or other users due to their own fault. ④ If a user who is a minor under civil law wishes to pay for paid content, they must obtain prior consent from their legal representative. Article 11 (Deletion of Public Posts) ① If the content of a user's public post falls under any of the following, Providence Bible School may delete the post without prior notice and may restrict, suspend, or revoke the user's membership. Content that defames or slanders other users or third parties, damaging their reputation. Content that disseminates information, writings, or images that violate public order and morals. Content deemed to be related to criminal acts. Content that infringes on the copyrights or other rights of other users or third parties. Content deemed to violate other relevant laws. Content that causes or is likely to cause religious or political disputes, thereby interfering with or likely to interfere with the operations of Providence Bible School. ② If another user or third party takes civil or criminal legal action (such as filing a complaint, requesting an injunction, or claiming damages) against a user or Providence Bible School due to legal infringement caused by a user's public post, and requests the deletion of the related post, Providence Bible School may temporarily restrict access to the relevant post until the result of the legal action (such as prosecution, court injunction, or damages judgment) is determined. Article 12 (Copyright Ownership and Use Restrictions) ① Copyrights and other intellectual property rights to works created by Providence Bible School belong to Providence Bible School. ② Users may not use information obtained by using Providence Bible School for profit by copying, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting, or other means, or allow third parties to use it without prior consent from Providence Bible School. Article 13 (Amendment of Terms) ① Providence Bible School may amend these Terms within the scope not violating the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Basic Act on Electronic Transactions, the Electronic Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, and other relevant laws. ② However, if the amendment is unfavorable to users, it will be announced from 30 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date. ③ Users have the right to refuse the amended Terms. Users may express their refusal within 15 days after the amended Terms are announced. If a user refuses, Providence Bible School may terminate the contract with that user. If a user does not express refusal within 15 days after the amended Terms are announced, it is deemed as consent. Article 14 (Jurisdiction) Disputes arising between Providence Bible School and users regarding the use of services shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits arising from such disputes shall be brought before the courts of the Republic of Korea, which have jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
